So I decided to try something new with my reviews. I noticed that with a lot of the makeup products I decide to get, I will only do a tutorial on them and never really go in depth about what I like, what I don’t, how they apply, etc etc. I realize that some people wanna hear that stuff so they get a full detailed idea of if they want to purchase said product or not, and others just care about seeing whatever look I have on and using the stuff they already own. SOOO, what I’m going to try for the next few things I get (palettes mostly I’m guessing, but maybe other things!) is film both a review and a tutorial using the product. I think I’m going to upload these back to back and just link them to one another, but I’m afraid that may cause whatever one was uploaded first to be shadowed so a lot less people see it. Oh well, here’s to trying! If that’s the case and that’s what happens, I’ll probably change this so that the review uploads monday and the tutorial wednesday, or vice versa. we’ll see.

I thought I’d leave a comment informing you and the people checking out this tutorial that there is an incredibly cheaper version of this. I know in the past you have commented about other cheaper options than things like MAC. In reality we all know its incredibly difficult to color match to MAC or stilas wide variety of colors (especially since the drugstore brands discontinue colors every season). SO! I while watching your video for this look, i kept thinking “goooodddd i couldnt bring myself to spend 36 dollars on that! but the colors are Amazing!”. The very next day I went to walmart and was strolling through the makeup area when suddenly i saw it. Rimmel makes a ridiculously similar palette. The only exception is instead of a amethyst color, you get a silver -ish color. with a little tweaking i was able to pull off a VERY similar look, and the palettes cost? only $4-$6. Also I wanted to thank you for sparking my interest in makeup again, when i was younger my mom worked in the makeup department at walmart and brought stuff home for me constantly and i would do these bright neon and crazy fun looks daily, but after being employed at disneyland, due to their VERY strict policies on the ‘disney look’ i wasn’t able to play around with my look like i used to and i was sucked into the daily drab “quick and convenient”. so! a tip of my hat to you! I hope my heads up on the rimmel palette will be beneficial to those who are on a tight budget but want to stand out a little more.
