I didn’t realize that these had come out yet, doh! I saw these being advertised at a store in the mall and decided to get the mini pack. I like buying minis of polish sets if its available because then I get to try out all the colors for pretty cheap, and in a small amount so if I don’t really use it I don’t feel bad

These two are my favorites. I’m mad you can’t tell how gorgeous Thank You Muchness! is from this picture, it’s so much deeper and shinier in real life!

I have to say, I personally really, really don’t like Off With Her Red! I feel like it looks like old ketchup or something. Meh.
I also have mixed feelings about Mad As A Hatter. I mean, the name is fitting I suppose, considering the polish is pretty crazy, but I dunno. I think because of the original Disney Alice I am forever going to have green in my head when I think of the Mad Hatter.
When I was first swatching these, immediately thought Absolutely Alice looked a LOT like Dorothy, Who? From China Glaze, and Mad As A Hatter looked a bit like Too Good For Him from Sephora by OPI. Soo naturally, I did comparison swatches

(Sorry this picture isn’t the clearest!) Absolutely Alice definitely has more glitter, and both blue and gold glitter at that, while Dorothy Who? is more of a jelly based blue with silver glitter.

Clearly, these two are WAY different than I thought! Sometime going off memory can totally throw you, haha.

I just got Mad as a Hatter in the mail from trans design today and I love it. I put on 3 coats and then just to see what it looked like I put on Essie’s Matte About You. I love it both ways. It’s a nice polish and goes on nicely too.

I just bought the full-sized Absolutely Alice and Mad as a Hatter today because I am totally in love with Tim Burton and Alice in Wonderland. Love love love them. I have a very small collection of polishes though, so for me it wasn’t like I was getting something similar to something I already have… definitely worth it

That’s really interesting. I have to agree with you about the Off With Her Red. I’m not a fan of any of the Alice Reds. Although I must say, I have to disagree with you, I like Alice and the Mad as a Hatter.
But my understanding is that you have to put at least 3 coats to make the colour show up. Also, I’m not a fan of chunky glitter, so if I were to get these…well, we’ll see. lol

I want to get mad as a hatter now, I actually like it, love the glitter. But I have a question, have you used ruby pumps by china glaze?

The silver color is strange for Mad As A Hatter.

I prefer minis as well, because I usually don’t use a whole bottle anyway,and it’s a waste if I don’t use it.

Wow! I love Absolutely Alice and Mad as a hatter! I am getting the mini set of all of them. Very excited. I have to agree with you & everyone else about off with her head though. I really want to see Thank you muchness in person. Thanks for the swatches. I absolutely love your site!

Mad as a Hatter is totally on backorder everywhere in California! Even the store I work at wont be getting it for awhile…same with the small set. I’m sad I didn’t snag one when I had the chance!

I have the mini set also, and I have the same complaints, the Off With Her Red is a gross color overall. The Mad as A Hatter is SO difficult to get off, it makes me not want to wear it at all again.

I agree with your favorites.
sometimes cosmetic products, such as nail polishes, have really bad ass names but the colors don’t exactly look awesome, but you almost just wanna force yourself to wear it and just pray someone asks you what you’re wearing so you can sound unique and creative!
