Temptu Air Pod Review

OMIGOSH Guys. I have become a whole hearted airbrush addict. WHY did I wait this long to learn how AWESOME airbrushing is?? Life changing. I don’t think I could ever go back to regular foundation again!

I have been able to try out two main airbrushing systems, and will be reviewing both just for you! :) Today’s post will be on the Temptu Air Pod.

Sephora

From Sephora:

Achieve flawless skin with this easy-to-use, mess-proof AIR pod™ system that delivers precise, professional results. The foolproof system allows you to snap on and off the various Makeup AIR pods—including foundations, blushes, and more—so you can create luminous looks, without the fuss. $225

My Thoughts:
This product is really made for consumer use, not for makeup artists, which can be a good or bad thing. If you are just looking for a super easy way to apply your face makeup that is SUPER fast, no hassle, then this is DEFINITELY a great product. The design is really cool and it takes up very little space. The products available for this system are a range of 12 different colored foundations ($55 for two), 4 blushes ($30 each) and 4 highlighters ($35 each).

The only downfalls are the price (but you won’t find an airbrush system for any cheaper) and the fact that the range is sort of set in stone. If they don’t carry the color for you, you’re pretty much out of luck.

Here is a review/how-to video on the Air pod. I hope it’s helpful to any of you thinking about purchasing!!

I love airbrushing. I have a Dinair and want to marry it. It’s that good. I’m like you – I don’t think I can go back to ‘regular’ foundation application now.

At the risk of sounding like a e-creeper (LOL) I think you’re totally awesome! You make us all feel like we know you and that rocks! I love watching the videos and HATE knowing people give you shit on youtube! I’d rather receive make up advice from someone who feels like a “Friend”! ^^

    & that eyeshadow is STUNNING!

Hey! love the new video! I got some mario badescu samples after your video explaining that they mail them for free, thanx for the info. i had actually been using a mario badescu cleanser before i saw your video so it was nice to get some insight into their other products cuz i really don’t know anyone else who uses them. anyway, i wanted to tell you about the healing & soothing mask sample that they sent me because i LOVE it! I have really sensitive skin and sometimes my skin gets red and irritated from the harsh weather, this mask takes all the red out of my skin – its amazing.

Hi!!! Im from Brazil and I loved your video. Here there are a few places that are already using airbrush but it´s not so popular and it costs a lot. Tks for the review, it helped me to understand a little bit how it works.

If you haven’t found a product to clear your chin, try doing a colon cleanse. For years the only spot I would consistently breakout was my chin, I did 3 months of Colonix and it was like the miracle drug. If you haven’t tried it, I’d highly recommend it. It’s just some fiber pills in the a.m. and a laxative tea at night… it’s all very gentle, not like running to the toilet :) p.s. i got my M.B. samples in 1 week!!!

Hey Leesha. I was wondering what you think about airbrushing and DRY skin. My skin is actually Normal, but I have a tiny bit of psoriasis around my nose and mouth area, making my skin look really flaky, and foundation just seems to bring that out even more. I hate it. Do you think that this would be good for that? Especially being a silicone base? I’ve been doing my research for some time now, and I don’t want to invest my money in ANYTHING if it’s not going to work.

I’m glad you updated you website, I used to come check everyday and always felt sad there was nothing new haha! I’m trying to stop using foundation unless my skin decides to be hideous, and try to focus on imperfections (like half of my face) with concealer and only use loose mineral powder for the rest as I started to think liquid foundation doesn’t help my skin get better, but this thing is so tempting, it looks like p-e-r-f-e-c-t-i-o-n!!

The only thing that sucks in my opinion is that you have to use their foundation and all the ones you have have to go to the garbage now…Is their a difference in consistency and forumula, is it a special airbrush designed foundation or is it just because of the packaging that has to fit with the machine? It would be awesome if instead there was a place inside where you can pour the foundation you like.

    xx

hey, i was just wondering does it easily rub off? I had the same problem with it being too dark for me, even the lighest color, but that wasn’t the problem. everytime i touched my face, even slightly, or hugged someone my face would come off. =(

I like this eyeshadow look. I have HiP eyeshadow from L`oreal and have no idea what to do with it. Can you create a look using this crystal shadow duo # 819 Precious, please?
