Feelin Primary- Something I am really trying to do more lately is wear makeup for fun. I love playing with makeup, but I find I only really wear it for tutorials and such. I need to get back into the habit of wearing it all the time, I am more inspired that way!

New Year’s Eve is a super light beige with loads of gold sparkle. The beige base color doesn’t show up much unless you use it wet, so really this is just a super sparkle shade. Used wet it would work as a quick all-over daytime shade, but dry you could layer a bit over other colors to give some sparkle!

Sweet Dreams is a light tan with silver shimmer. This one applies like buttahhh. Super smooth and a super flattering shade.

Afterglow is like a step up from Sweet Dreams. It’s in that same category of a light tan, it’s just a bit deeper and more intense. It also seems to have more gold in it.

Liquid Gold is just that- liquidy gold pigment! Gorgeous and super unique. It reminds me of a MAC pigment, but this one doesn’t smell like old pennies :) This swatch is applied dry, and it totally doesn’t look it. love!

Birthday Wish is a really gorgeous peachy coral with gold sparkle. All you Blue eyes out there- get this! Amazing!

Enchanted is a cool toned raspberry/cranberry shade. This would be a great shade to use for a reddish smokey eye, with some warm brown shades.. ooh I’m getting inspired :)

Paparazzi is a slate gray with LOADS of silver sparkle. My swatch makes it look a LOT lighter than it is. This pigment is total sparkle overload!

Insomnia is a dark warm red brown with blue green sparkle. DUOCHROME!! This is like Club from MAC, but on steroids.

Utopia is a dupe for MAC Reflects Antique Gold, but it’s a pigment so its a LOT easier to work with. Such an amazing shade!!

Sephora is releasing this collection online this month (and in stores August) but had the palette available to buy last week for just a couple of days before they moved it to “coming soon”. I was lucky enough to snag one up before they took it down, so here are photos of it!

Here is the cardboard box packaging. UGH, its so gorgeous! So colorful and has loads of metallic overlay.The back of the cardboard packaging shows each color inside a silhouette of Ariel.Here’s the actual box. I am OBSESSED with this design. Ariel looking up in her grotto, with all this fun metallic overlay. The blues and greens are amazing!!Packaging and palette. Just like the other Storylook palettes, you pull out the palette from the box and the eyeshadows are removable, so you can keep the box itself and use it for storing some small items.

Here are the eyeshadows. This palette is like the Cinderella Storylook in the sense that it is 20 eyeshadows (the Jasmine had less shadows but included cheek products) I love all the names and how it consists of multiple textures. These are swatched without a base.

Overall I am super happy with this palette! I do wish that it had a bright red to signify Ariel’s hair, but I understand from a marketing standpoint that might be a scary color for your average consumer. Still, I want it!

Rising Sun is a creamy orange with gold shimmer. It’s pretty sheer on the lips and has a slick texture, so if you don’t like sticky lipgloss, this is a nice alternative!

Razzle-Dazzler is a light creamy coral. It’s a lustre finish, so it isn’t overly pigmented.

Flamingo is described as a light milky bright coral. To me, it seems more on the pink side than coral. It’s a lustre finish as well.

Honey Jasmine is a warm coral. I love this shade! It’s a satin formula, so not super shimmery. I really love orange toned blushes, this is a winner to me!

Sweet Pop is a creamy peach polish. I love the shade, but I’ve never been too keen on MAC nail polishes, both the wear and the price. 

Overall I love the shades here, but nothing is super super original. As I said most of this is already sold out online, but I can’t imagine it being hard to find dupes.

I originally thought my lip tars had gone bad, and emailed the owner of OCC about it, and he told me a quick fix. Since I have gotten many, many emails from you guys about this happening to you, I thought I’d do a really quick video showing that simply flipping the tube of lip tar over and leaving it for about an hour will mix it back up. Sure, if you are in a pinch you could shake the tube or try and kneed it together, but because the product is relatively thick it will only mix it so much, unless you want to shake it for awhile!

Now, I work from home, so it’s not really surprising that I don’t want to do my makeup to sit and work from my computer, or do it to run to the grocery store. That being said, it’s making me forget why I started applying makeup in the first place- for FUN!

I’m making it a goal of mine to post a lot more beauty looks on the blog. Just playing around, trying out products that got put in drawers never to be seen again. In addition to not really wearing makeup anymore, I also get stuck using the same products over and over. I gotta break out of this habit!

This look was a result of using a Sleek MakeUP palette I had never used before that had a ridiculously badass coral shade in it that was just begging to be used. I really love red tones with blue eyes so this was a winner in my book! :)

I love this photo and how they embraced the black-and-white photo era with their clothes. That was really what I wanted to go for! 

I found my picture on NewTimes the next day, which was pretty cool :) 

The gray makeup was Ben Nye Cream makeup, although if I was to redo this I would absolutely NOT use this on my arms and legs as it got all on my clothes and was a TOTAL bitch to take off. I had a lot of fun though and thought you guys might like to see pictures :)
