I really need someĀ "swatch picture 101" lessons, sheesh! I haven't used my camera in quite a few weeks and I guess with all the other nonsense going on around here I completely forgot how to do anything with it lol. It took forever to even get decent nail shots! Ah well, I'll figure it out! :)
Anyways, here are the only two nail looks I've done in probably 2 months lol. Gotta start wearing polish more often!!

This is going to be a new series that will come out on Mondays (I have like 5 'series' that come out on Mondays, so it'll kinda be a tossup on what Monday it will come out on!) This is very similar to review videos, but I'm going to try and be a little more in-depth than reviews tend to be. The first one is going to be on some nail polishes I have had for quite some time. and posted blog posts about, but never a video review: Eyeko Polishes!
Here are some Swatches:

So in case you didn't know, I kinda love Eyeko Polishes. Not just because the packaging on each polish is totally unique and ADORABLE, but because the formula is FANTASTIC and with most, it's opaque in one coat. They've just released two new shades: Rain Polish (For City Nails) and Saucy Polish (For Naughty Nails).
And just because, here are some pictures of all of the Eyeko polishes I have, which I believe are all of them, if not definitely most. There are swatches for these babies here ...

So my lovely friend Brooke, aka SayAnythingBr00ke on YouTube, filled in for Fierce Friday last week while I was at IMATS. a few weeks ago she did an AWESOME Lisa Frank Inspired nail tutorial that I copied and LOVED, and for Fierce Friday she decided to do a nail look inspired by Fruit Stripes Gum, that gum I'm sure most of us ate as kids (with the rainbow zebra!)

This was love at first site! My friend Brooke (Sayanythingbr00ke on youtube) just posted this super awesome nail tutorial yesterday and I immediately HAAAAD to copy it. It's SOOOO cool but seriously so easy, it's ridiculous. All you need are a few fun bright colors, a Konad stamp and a black Konad Nail polish.
Here's how mine came out (basically the same, I used just about everything she used haha)
The Konad plate is M57. If you don't have Konad (which you totally should! availab...

I'm pretty sure I've done these nails before (or something very similar) and uploaded it on here, but I had a ton of people asking what nail polish I was wearing in my last Fierce Friday video, so here they are!
Illamasqua Wayward with OPI Cabana Banana on top. Illamasqua has AMAZING nail polishes, definitely my favorite thing from their line. This yellow does NOT disappoint, its a gorgeous creamy sunshine yellow. I just like to sometimes make cream polishes shimmery, which is why I add...

I lovee love the way Konad stamps make nails go from cute to 'omg awesome how did you do that?!?'. The problem is that I'm lazy and they can take a little time and energy, especially if you mess up!
I was bored the other day and since I had just put on OPI's What's with the Cattitude? polish, which looks just like a bright blue sky to me, I thought it'd be super cute with some clouds across them.
I used OPI's What's With the Cattitude? and topped it with OPI Breathe Life so it had a more...

Here are two Nails of the Day pictures I forgot to show you guys. Love them both!!
China Glaze Sun Worshiper. This is super hard to photograph, but it's a neon bright orange juicey color. It looks more yellow in the bottle photo, closer to real life in the nail photo, but believe me, it's BRIGHT and AWESOME!
Illamasqua Grab with a layer of Urban Decay Love Light on top, with some heart nail stickers. I'm a huge fan of Illamasqua's nail polishes, they're nice and opaque after tw...
Milani 3D Holographic Swatches
So I'm gonna hide while saying this, but there isn't going to be a Fierce Friday this week :X I know there wasn't Wearable Wednesday either, and it's because this is finals week and since I took last weekend to go visit friends I've been a little behind. Sorry! Everything will go back to normal next week, promise :)
I guess one upside to this is that since I am horrible at focusing on things for too long (like finals papers, for example) I take lotsa breaks so I don't want to shoot myself, an...

I just got these in the mail yesterday and had to show you guys ASAP! I love Eyeko polishes because they come in super cute bottles with adorable labels and have really cute names. They're also super opaque right off the bat, love love!!
In Direct Sunlight
I love Vampira Polish, but it really needs a top coat in order to really shine (it doesn't have one in the first picture but does in the second) This is all with two coats.
